Dr. Antonelli is board certified in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery and Neurotology. He specializes in the treatment and prevention of middle ear diseases in children. Recurrent and persistent middle ear infections are common in children with cleft palate and other craniofacial disorders. These ear infections can lead to more serious middle ear problems or speech and cognitive problems. Dr Antonelli is leading the University of Florida Craniofacial Center's research in this area.
