Ms. Dixon-Wood is the senior speech pathologist for the Craniofacial Team and specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of velopharyngeal insufficiency. She also serves as a clinical supervisor at the University of Florida Speech and Hearing clinic where she teaches an applied course in craniofacial anomalies. In addition, she has extensive experience in feeding, counseling and patient advocacy. She has participated in research studies involving feeding and speech in Brazil, Russia and Ukraine.
